1st Annual April Fools Open 2008
5-Swiss G/100 (G/95 with a 5-second delay on all digital clocks) April 5th - 6th.
Tie-breaks will be G/5 Round Robin without a delay. This is a USCF rated event. USCF Memberships will be available during registration. Location: 2828 Dauphin Street, Mobile, AL 36606. From I65, take exit 4. Head east for roughly one mile, passing a street called Sage Avenue. Once you pass this street, immediately begin looking left. You will see a park, a few office buildings, and then Mobile Gas. Mobile Gas has a large sign with fountains and many flowers, and is a very large building. Turn in, and park in the front. If you miss the first turn, there is a second. Do not enter the main front doors. Instead, face them, and look just to your left, you will see a sidewalk leading to a smaller door. On this door it says "Auditorium Entrance". Enter there, and follow the signs to the Auditorium. If for some reason you get lost that morning, you can give Keenan Olson a call on his cell, (251) 623-2228, and he will direct you where you need to go. Entry fee: $39 Pre-registration: $29 ACF Inc.
